This site contains an archive of vintage C.F. Martin & Co catalogs. The
purpose of the archive is to provide historical information on Martin
instruments. This site is in no way affiliated with, sponsored by or
endorsed by C.F. Martin & Co. The scanned catalog pages have been
provided from numerous private collections. The catalogs can be browsed by year, guitar model or
instrument. Browsing by instrument does not include acoustic 6 string
guitar as they appear in every catalog. Browse by model only includes acoustic guitar (classical,
tenor, 12 string, Archtop & Hawaiian guitars are included) and does not include other instruments.
The scans are sized to
minimize file size while still allowing legible reading on a monitor.
They are not intended to be sufficient to reprint a catalog for any
purpose.
I am always looking to fill in the gaps in the archive, so submissions (electronic or paper) are always welcome. I accept scans of any years but am primarily interested in pre 1985. I will populate the archive as fast as I am able but there is a backlog of catalogs that I have recieved that have yet to be added.
